IONIA. Phokaia. Circa 625/0-522 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 10 mm, 2.63 g). Head of an eagle to left; below, small seal to left. Rev. Incuse square punch. Bodenstedt -. Nomos 1 (2009), 105. Triton XV (2012), 1228. Very rare. An exceptional piece of vigorous Archaic style. Light marks and a few edge cracks, otherwise, extremely fine.
